The Materials Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials, data, and information across the organization. This position is responsible for managing purchasing, logistics, vendor performance, and inventory operations to support efficient production and supply chain processes.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with engineering, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to maintain accuracy, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, a solid understanding of procurement and inventory practices, and the ability to manage complex data with precision.
What You Will Do
+ Leadership: Set team priorities aligned with organizational goals and ensure effective execution of key initiatives.
+ Purchasing and Logistics Management: The manager oversees purchasing and logistics functions to ensure smooth operations and procurement processes.
+ Purchase Order On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Vendor Performance: Monitor and maintain the on-time delivery of purchase orders and evaluate vendor performance, specifically for Walbar Supplier Management.
+ Vendor Management Data: Review and handle vendor data and submit tickets for additions or changes to this data as needed.
+ Customs Clearance: Manager facilitates customs clearance when required, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations.
+ Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that part numbers are added and the OISC table is updated accurately.
+ Maintain Macros: Maintain Macros to manage data related to receiving products, customers, part numbers, etc.
+ Product Induction Reversal: Manager corrects any errors in the induction of products by reversing improperly inducted items.
+ Inventory Management: Manage both monthly and yearly inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory control.
+ Supplier Portal: Maintain vendors as needed for corrections and additions.
+ FSS (Finical Shared Services): Resolve issues and assist with purchasing department for unresolved issues.
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

**Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
