    Job Summary

    The Program Support Manager will help drive the successful execution of initiatives processes and manage multiple priorities concurrently through strong project management, systems knowledge and effective communications. This role will report to the Sr. Project Manager – Utility Culture and work cross-functionally with all departments and functions of the Utility. This role will provide program management oversight over scope of various projects and will be responsible for launching and managing the ongoing implementation of people & culture initiatives.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Execute and develop the annual Utility Culture Action plan which includes working collaboratively with team members to identify opportunities to drive and support programs that support the Utility’s culture strategic initiatives.

    + Prepare effective internal communications, to convey the Utility culture, mission, and values internally and increase employee engagement.

    + Develop and prepare guidelines and procedures for executing strategic initiatives; work closely with various business partners within the company to ensure the optimization and alignment of initiatives and programs.

    + During storm/outage restoration efforts and during the execution of various employee engagement events, may be required to perform functions different from normal operations and your regular work schedule, and may also be required to work in an alternate location.

    Job Specific Qualifications

    + Minimum 7 years relevant professional work experience; In lieu of a degree, high school diploma or GED with 11 years of related professional work experience.

    + BS/BA in Management, Engineering, Finance or other relevant field or equivalent work experience.

    + Operational decision-making skills, strong analytical ability, strong problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to multi-task and maintain high performance during periods of change and drive high standards for individual and organizational performance.

    + Excellent teamwork and facilitation skills.

    + Experience with proven process improvement methods and practices coupled with well-organized and systematic steps of tasks, timing, staff and resources to implement decisions.

    + Broad general management and technical skills with experience in leadership, process management, business planning and budgeting, change management, marketing, appliance service, financial analysis and work planning competencies.

    + Advanced interpersonal skills, communications skills and presentation skills; Demonstrated ability to present and discuss complex information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding and approval.

    + Systems/applications experience such as SAP, Microsoft – Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

    + Because the job requires driving to company locations and off-site assignments and events, must possess a valid driver’s Commercial Driving License with a safe and satisfactory driver history.

    Desired:

    + MBA or advanced degree

    + Track record of managing complex multi-disciplined projects

    + Experience working in a Utility

    + Working knowledge of company applications including SAP and procedures like p-card payment processing and budget tracking

    + Experience in industry benchmarking groups and studies

    + Comfortable with public speaking and giving presentations to a variety of audiences and facilitating joint union/management process improvement teams
