Job Overview
*Preferred candidate will reside in the Northeast (preferably within driving distance to Harrisburg, PA. However this is NOT a requirement*
Seeking an experienced Data and Analytics leader for Business Unit(s) to enhance data quality and advanced analytics for transformation. This role shapes demand for data science, analytics, and AI, accelerates adoption of analytics standards, and reduces legacy data systems.
The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in building data-driven cultures, influencing leaders, and implementing AI and analytics at scale. This cross-functional role collaborates with leaders to embed data and AI literacy, leveraging data as a strategic asset for decision-making and innovation.
Reporting to the AD&M CIO with a dotted line to the IS Analytics Leader
1. Business Engagement & Demand Shaping for Data, Analytics, and AI
Partner with leaders to identify high-value analytics, data science, and AI opportunities.
Prioritize data-driven use cases aligned with business goals and solutions.
Establish a demand management framework to connect BU needs with data capabilities, delivering $$ value targets.
2. One Data Platform Adoption
Drive adoption of the One Data Platform by aligning with business requirements and delivering value-driven solutions.
Act as a strategic advisor on data integration and self-service analytics.
Partner with data technology teams to enhance data accessibility and security.
3. Legacy Data Systems Reduction & Modernization
Collaborate to retire legacy data platforms and transition to modern solutions.
Track KPIs for legacy system decommissioning and ensure smooth data migrations.
Partner with IT and data engineering to optimize infrastructure costs.
4. Data & AI Literacy & Culture Building
Lead Data & AI Literacy initiatives to ensure confidence in using data for decision-making.
Execute a training strategy for self-service analytics and data-driven decisions.
Foster a data culture by promoting awareness, best practices, and success stories.
What your background should look like:
+ 5+ years in data analytics leadership, strong AI adoption.
+ Ability to convert business needs into data strategies with measurable impact.
+ Deep knowledge of enterprise data platforms, AI/ML, and cloud architectures.
+ Skilled in engaging and influencing executives and teams.
+ Proven in driving organizational change and data literacy.
+ Experience in data governance and compliance.
+ Preferred: manufacturing experience, operations, supply chain, and knowledge of modern data architectures (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP). Strong grasp of AI ethics and data privacy
+ If candidate resides outside of EST, must be willing to adjust schedule to accommodate EST
