How You Can Make an Impact
The Operations Data Analyst will support our organization by transforming operational, safety, and quality data into actionable insights. This individual will focus on identifying trends, measuring performance, and improving processes that enhance field operations and safety outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL, R, Excel, and Power BI, along with familiarity or experience working with data lakes and Azure-based infrastructure. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in developing data-driven solutions that promote efficiency, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement across operations and safety initiatives.
How You Will Contribute
+ Develop predictive models to help anticipate incidents, quality defects, and cost overruns.
+ Gather, consolidate, clean, and preprocess data from various sources (e.g., spreadsheets, Azure data lakes, SQL databases) to ensure quality and reliability.
+ Use tools like Python, R, Excel, and Power BI to explore data, identify trends, patterns, and relationships in workload performance, operational metrics, and profitability.
+ Collaborate with IT teams to design, implement, and maintain efficient data pipelines in Azure environments, ensuring proper data ingestion, storage, and retrieval.
+ Develop dashboards and visual reports to present findings, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights for optimization and cost reduction.
+ Validate data integrity, implement quality controls, and monitor processes to maintain accuracy and consistency across datasets.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You Bring to the Table
+ Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
+ Keen attention to detail and ability to interpret complex datasets.
+ Ability to convey technical information effectively to various audiences.
+ Strong presentation skills, with the ability to build clear, concise reports.
+ Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
+ Interest in exploring advanced analytics techniques (e.g., basic machine learning, data mining).
+ Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, Power Query, and complex formulas).
Your Prior Experience
+ Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
+ Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
+ Preferred: Coursework or internship experience in data analytics, cloud technologies, or similar roles.
+ Proficiency with data visualization tools, such as Power BI (Tableau experience is a plus).
+ Experience working with large datasets, data cleaning, and statistical analysis
+ Hands-on experience using SQL, Azure-based data services, R for statistical analysis, and Python.
Our Competitive Package
Pay: $30.00 -$35.00 per hour
This pay range is our competitive compensation at the time of this job posting. Your pay will be determined based on experience, education, skills, and applicable knowledge.
