Lube Technician – Tire Pros

**Location:** Mission, TX

**Position Type:** Full-Time

**Reports To:** Store Manager / Service Manager

About the Role

As a Lube Technician with Tire Pros, you’re the first line of defense in keeping customer vehicles running safely and smoothly. You’ll handle essential preventative maintenance services while delivering the kind of customer experience that keeps drivers coming back. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and wants a clear path to grow inside a fast-moving automotive shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform basic vehicle maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and tire rotations

+ Complete multi-point inspections and accurately document findings

+ Check and top off essential fluids (coolant, brake fluid, transmission, power steering, washer fluid, etc.)

+ Inspect belts, hoses, batteries, and overall vehicle condition

+ Assist technicians with shop tasks as needed (tire mounting/balancing, general shop upkeep, etc.)

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

+ Provide clear communication to service writers and customers about vehicle needs

+ Follow all safety procedures, shop standards, and Tire Pros operating guidelines

Qualifications

+ Previous automotive or lube tech experience preferred, but **entry-level candidates welcome**

+ Basic understanding of vehicle systems and routine maintenance

+ Ability to lift 50–75 lbs., work on your feet, and handle tools/equipment safely

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right the first time

+ Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Técnico Lubricador Automotriz – Tire Pros

Descripción del Puesto

Como **Técnico Lubricador Automotriz** , serás una parte fundamental del equipo de servicio. Tu responsabilidad principal será realizar mantenimiento preventivo para asegurar que los vehículos de nuestros clientes se mantengan en óptimas condiciones. Este puesto es ideal para personas que disfrutan el trabajo práctico, son detallistas y buscan crecer dentro de un taller automotriz profesional.

Responsabilidades Principales

+ Realizar mantenimiento básico: cambios de aceite, reemplazo de filtros, revisión de fluidos y rotación de llantas.

+ Completar inspecciones multipunto y registrar los hallazgos de manera precisa.

+ Revisar, rellenar y asegurar niveles correctos de fluidos esenciales (anticongelante, frenos, transmisión, dirección hidráulica, limpiaparabrisas, etc.).

+ Inspeccionar correas, mangueras, batería y condiciones generales del vehículo.

+ Apoyar a los técnicos en tareas adicionales como montaje y balanceo de llantas o limpieza del área de trabajo.

+ Mantener un ambiente de trabajo limpio, seguro y organizado.

+ Comunicar información importante sobre el estado del vehículo a los asesores de servicio.

+ Seguir lineamientos de seguridad, procedimientos del taller y estándares de Tire Pros.

Requisitos

+ Experiencia previa como lubricador o técnico automotriz (preferente), pero aceptamos candidatos sin experiencia.

+ Conocimientos básicos de mecánica o mantenimiento automotriz.

+ Capacidad para levantar entre 50–75 lbs y trabajar de pie durante largos periodos.

+ Cuidado por los detalles y compromiso con realizar el trabajo correctamente desde el inicio.

+ Actitud positiva, responsabilidad y disposición para aprender.

+ Licencia de conducir válida y buen historial de manejo.
