What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, while responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors within a healthcare environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents, following protocols specific to a healthcare location.

+ Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification when required, and assisting with visitor management.

+ Communicate professionally with staff, patients, visitors, and first responders as needed, providing assistance and/or information.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports of security-related incidents, patrols, and other assigned duties for Allied Universal and client records.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.

+ Vaccines are required for work in hospital settings.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
