As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to maintain a secure environment and help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry or exit within the logistics and distribution location.

+ Verify credentials and/or identification of individuals entering or leaving the premises as part of access control duties.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related events.

+ Support emergency response efforts as needed, following established protocols for the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
