As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is an armed post, where you will help to deter security-related incidents and respond to situations as needed, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution.

+ Monitor access control at the main entrance, verifying identification and managing visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including communicating with building management and Allied Universal personnel.

+ Maintain a professional presence at the front desk, answering inquiries and providing directions or information as appropriate.

+ Document all security-related incidents and/or unusual activities according to site and Allied Universal procedures.

+ Collaborate with onsite staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

+ A DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
