As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This position requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will be visible throughout the location, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

    What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

    + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any unusual circumstances.

    + Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.

    + Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and employees to provide assistance and support as needed.

    + Document and report incidents and/or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and procedures.

    + Work collaboratively with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required.

    + Remain alert and prepared to respond to developing situations in a retail environment.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + An armed guard card or license is required.

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
