    As a **Security Officer - Logistics Entry Guard** in **Hagerstown, MD** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with individuals on site, and delivering exceptional customer service.     What You'll Do:

    + Perform screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items from entering the premises.

    + Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with inquiries and directions as needed.

    + Follow site-specific security-related procedures and protocols to maintain order within the location.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.

    + Complete required reports and documentation related to screening, incidents, and daily activities.

    + Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.

    + Participate in emergency response activities according to site protocols.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A guard card or license is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
