This position requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling the premises and responding promptly to incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and adhering to protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to observe and report suspicious behaviors or activities.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary, following established communication protocols.

+ Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

+ Remain visible and approachable to assist customers, employees, and visitors with security-related questions or concerns.

+ Adhere to all company and site-specific guidelines regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
