As a **Security Officer - Tech Campus Desk** in **Atlanta, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology and telecommunications location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. You will use your communication skills and attention to detail to monitor access, assist guests, and support a welcoming environment that reflects our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk within a technology, media, and telecom location.

+ Monitor access to the building by greeting and verifying visitors, contractors, and/or employees in accordance with established protocols.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and client guidelines.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or visitor logs as required by site procedures.

+ Assist with emergency response activities, including communicating with emergency services and guiding building occupants as directed.

+ Support a welcoming and professional environment while helping to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity at the front desk area.

+ Communicate important information to management, site contacts, and/or Allied Universal supervisors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
