As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the aerospace and defense location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs specific to the aerospace and defense environment.

+ Maintain accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be able to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
