As a **Security Officer - Armed Education Patrol** in **Rock Hill, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at an education location. Your role involves engaging with the community, providing strong customer service, and responding quickly to any incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed patrol posts.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the educational location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible security-related presence.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.

+ Work collaboratively with staff, students, and visitors to promote a secure environment within the educational setting.

+ Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents that may arise within the educational location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess at least five years of security-related experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
