CBO Revenue Cycle Supervisor

Responsible for managing the patient financial services functions in the Health System CBO including Billing/Collections; Cash Posting; Contract Management; Customer Service; Judicial Affairs. Oversees one or more of the following functions: inpatient/outpatient billing; cash posting and customer service. Prepares statistical reports. Assists in providing information for internal and/or external auditors. Analyzes accounts for Third Party Payers to insure accurate reimbursement. Interviews hires trains supervises & evaluates assigned CBO staff.
+ Analyzes, plans, evaluates, and implements processes designed to maintain KPI’s at or exceeding determined benchmarks for assigned team(s).
+ Provides day-to-day supervision of assigned CBO staff.
+ Serves, manages, and supports internal and external customers to the CBO.
+ Suggests and participates in performance improvement activities.
+ Investigates documents and resolves problems and complaints.
+ Is accountable for own work responsibilities.
+ Maintains a positive and professional work environment.
+ Communicates appropriately using good interpersonal skills
+ Assumes responsibilities for professional development of self and contributes to and assists with the professional development of others.
+ Other duties may be assigned as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience: 4 years of relevant experience required, with at least one year in lead position. 2 years’ Supervisory experience preferred.
Working knowledge of all systems used in medical provider billing CPT HCPCS ICD-10 and modifiers and thorough knowledge of third-party billing and reimbursement is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires sitting for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: computer keyboard activity. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs.
Position Compensation Range: $47,512.00 - $95,024.00 Annual
