As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for all individuals on site. Your presence and communication skills will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, while supporting a caring and reliable environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you conduct your patrols throughout the property.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to situations as they arise.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for the location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the facility.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to Allied Universal and/or site management as required.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals from restricted areas within the healthcare environment.

+ Document security-related incidents and daily activities in accordance with company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
