As a **Security Officer - Aero/Defense Unarmed Patrol** in **Northridge, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming and secure environment for employees and visitors, while upholding our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to site-specific policies and/or emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities; working environments and conditions may vary depending on the location.

+ Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information or directions as needed while maintaining access control protocols.

+ Document daily activities and incidents, following Allied Universal reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
