Bilingual Phlebotomist (Spanish/English | NYC)

We’re hiring a Bilingual Phlebotomist fluent in Spanish and English to perform venipunctures and specimen collection with precision and professionalism. This is a full-time role based in NYC, ideal for candidates with strong technical skills and excellent communication.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform blood draws, label and centrifuge specimens, and maintain accurate records

+ Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly to patients

+ Match requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure 100% accuracy

+ Package and store specimens according to protocol

+ Maintain specimen integrity during transport and storage

Must-Haves

+ 2+ years of recent phlebotomy experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting

+ Proficiency with straight needles and ability to perform venipunctures independently

+ Fluency in Spanish and English

+ Strong communication skills and reliability

Preferred

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

+ Familiarity with color-coded tubes and lab tests

Work Environment

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM; every other Saturday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM

+ Location: NYC outpatient lab

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bronx, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
