Job Title: Systems EngineerJob Description
This position requires technical expertise in system acceptance testing, SCADA development, and PLC programming. The role involves splitting time between the client site and the headquarters office. The clients served are in the Mission Critical Facilities space, where safety and reliability are of utmost importance. The ideal candidate will design and build systems while effectively communicating and troubleshooting issues with client operators and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct onsite system acceptance testing.
+ Develop and deploy SCADA systems.
+ Program and integrate PLC systems.
+ Design and build reliable systems for mission-critical facilities.
+ Communicate and troubleshoot technical issues with client operators and stakeholders.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Schneider Electric PLCs or other PLC systems.
+ SCADA development and deployment experience.
+ PLC programming experience.
+ Field testing experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team.
+ Experience leading and conducting site acceptance testing.
+ Expertise in performing field integration of electrical and mechanical equipment systems.
+ Certification or credentials in a SCADA or software control platform.
+ Certification or credentials in a PLC or other relevant controller type.
+ 2+ years of experience or a degree related to the Mission Critical Industry.
Work Environment
The role requires onsite work at the client site in DC. The small team is dedicated to optimizing client processes, providing increased visibility into their facilities, and supporting business growth through systems design, process adherence, and process controls in the Mission Critical space.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alexandria, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
