Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in creating innovative solutions that enhance performance and reliability. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams in sales, manufacturing, and assembly.

Key Responsibilities

+ Design and develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and machine documentation.

+ Collaborate with controls engineers to design electrical control systems.

+ Assist with machine start-up, testing, and debugging, both in-house and at customer sites.

+ Create and update electrical and pneumatic schematics using Electrical CAD.

+ Size and specify electrical and pneumatic components for custom equipment.

+ Develop bills of materials and ensure compliance with controls standards.

+ Provide service support for troubleshooting machines in the field and via remote assistance.

+ Support evaluations and improvements for new and replacement components.

Required Qualifications

+ Education: Minimum 2-year degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

+ Experience: At least 2 years in electrical design, preferably in packaging or automation.

+ Technical Skills:Proficiency in Electrical Design, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.

+ Exposure to PLCs, schematic design, and automation systems.

Preferred:

+ Experience with packaging machinery and PLC programming.

Work Environment

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday with flexible start times.

+ Travel: Minimal to none.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.27/hr.
