    Job Title: Environmental Monitoring Analyst I

    Job Description

    Join a global bio-pharmaceutical company specializing in generic sterile injectable manufacturing as an Environmental Monitoring Analyst I. Be part of a team responsible for viable and non-viable monitoring of manufacturing areas, including air, water, and surface sampling. Utilize a proprietary LIMS for logging samples and adhere to cGMP documentation practices. Analysts will also process water, product, and commodity samples and perform bioburden testing.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct viable and non-viable monitoring of manufacturing areas, including air, water, and surface sampling.

    + Log samples in a proprietary LIMS and adhere to cGMP documentation practices.

    + Process water, product, and commodity samples.

    + Perform bioburden testing.

    + Assist Supervisors in training and integrating new hires into the pharmaceutical industry.

    + Act as an interim lead for the Supervisor as needed.

    + Participate in process improvement initiatives.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related life science field with 0-1+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in environmental monitoring.

    + Associate's degree or high school diploma with 1-2 years of environmental monitoring experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

    + Experience in gowning and sampling in an aseptic manufacturing environment.

    + Familiarity with GMP and environmental monitoring practices.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with LIMS and MODA sample tracking systems.

    + Knowledge of pharmaceutical lab setup and cGMP manufacturing.

    + Understanding of clean room practices and aseptic lab processing.

    + Familiarity with bioburden testing and aseptic sampling.

    Work Environment

    Work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with 80% of the time spent in manufacturing areas and 20% in the lab. The role involves a day shift with a 2,2,3 rotating schedule from 7am-7pm. Training involves working with team trainers to become certified on routine portions of the job.

    This is a Contract position based out of ROCKY MOUNT, NC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
