Job Title: Controls EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Controls Engineer with a focus on data centers. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in controls, commissioning, or programming, and will be adept at using a multi-meter to test inputs and outputs of voltage, commissioning systems, and ensuring that all components are correctly integrated and functioning. Network integration, calibration, and troubleshooting are key components of this role, with programming experience being a valued addition.
Responsibilities
+ Use a multi-meter to test inputs and outputs of voltage.
+ Commission systems to ensure all components are correctly integrated and functioning.
+ Perform network integration, calibration, and troubleshooting for controls and related components.
+ Engage in programming tasks when necessary.
Essential Skills
+ 2-6 years of experience with data centers in relation to controls, commissioning, or programming.
+ Proficiency in controls engineering, troubleshooting, and electrical systems.
+ Experience with HVAC controls and systems.
+ Knowledge of PLC programming.
+ Experience in computer networking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associates or bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
+ Data Center experience strongly preferred.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $46.00/hr.
