Description

Experience serving the engineering needs of clients by providing exceptional professional service in a strong team environment is also a must. Travel and field work may be required to complete some assigned projects. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and manage scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projects Independently perform detailed calculations for moderate to complex analyses and structural systems Lead and coordinate with other project team members to ensure successful completion of small to midsize projects Assist with mentoring less experienced engineers Perform site visits, collect field data, perform research and investigations, and prepare reports Review contractor submittals during construction for conformance to construction document requirements Assist with preparation of construction cost estimates

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering 3+ years’ experience in design of structural components and systems Competent in design of structural steel systems and components Positive attitude and strong work ethic Self-starter and results oriented Valid driver’s license in the US Ability to travel periodically Preferred Qualifications: Currently licensed as a PE or SE 7+ years of structural design experience Experience with the design of wood/timber, concrete, and masonry 1+ years of building design Competency working in either Risa 3D or Ram Elements Competency working in Revit

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $65.00/hr.
