    Electrical Engineer

    About the Role

    We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on cutting-edge transmission and substation projects. This role offers the chance to work on Remedial Action Schemes (RAS) and other critical systems that keep the power grid reliable and secure.     What You’ll Do

    + Design and develop electrical engineering solutions for transmission and substation systems.

    + Prepare detailed engineering specifications, drawings, and configuration files for RAS projects.

    + Support project managers and field crews with technical guidance and documentation.

    + Review and validate engineering designs for accuracy and compliance.

    + Participate in site visits to verify configurations and document as-built conditions.

    + Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering standards and templates.

    + Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge of best practices.

    + Maintain compliance with information security and record-keeping standards.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (ABET accredited).

    + Minimum 6 months of Electrical Engineering experience (recent graduates within 3 months of completion will be considered).

    + Knowledge of:

    + Regional transmission system components and facilities.

    + Substation protection schemes.

    + Remedial Action Schemes (RAS).

    + SCADA design or construction.

    + Experience reviewing electrical engineering designs in disciplines such as protective relay, control, SCADA, telecom, or substation.

    Preferred Skills

    + Familiarity with PLS-CADD, Bentley ProjectWise, and MS SharePoint.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Vancouver, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
