Job Title: Wire Harness Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Wire Harness Engineer with a strong electrical engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and routing complex automotive-grade harnesses, utilizing advanced tools and technologies. This role requires integration of electronic and hardware components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
+ Design and route extremely complex automotive-grade wire harnesses with multiple branches and splices.
+ Utilize Zuken software for building databases and creating detailed harness drawings.
+ Integrate electronic and hardware components to ensure seamless functionality.
+ Understand and apply knowledge of automotive-grade connectors, CAN network, and Automotive Ethernet.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets all specifications.
Essential Skills
+ Extensive experience in wire harness design and engineering.
+ Strong expertise in electrical engineering principles, specifically related to harness engineering.
+ Proficiency with Zuken software for database management and drawing creation.
+ Excellent understanding of automotive-grade connectors and CAN protocol.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Automotive Ethernet is a bonus.
+ Willingness to work Pacific time zone hours or currently residing in the Pacific time zone.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Mountain View, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
