Shop Service Technician

**Location:** Bloomington, MN | **Schedule:** Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Your Role:

As a Shop Service Technician, you’ll be the problem-solver who keeps equipment running at its best. From diagnosing hydraulic and electrical issues to performing precision repairs, your expertise ensures our customers’ equipment stays in top shape.

•️ Key Responsibilities:

+ Diagnose and repair equipment using hydraulic and electrical knowledge

+ Operate hand tools and specialized equipment for repairs

+ Order necessary parts and ensure accurate tolerances and torque specs

+ Test and record pressures on test sheets

+ Communicate with supervisors and recommend process improvements

+ Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics

+ Perform additional duties as assigned

•️ What You Bring:

+ Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulics and electrical systems

+ Knowledge of 12-volt systems, wiring start/stop circuits, and programming

+ Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot effectively

+ Skilled with saws, plasma cutters, and oxy-acetylene torches

+ Basic math skills for pressure and relief adjustments

+ Independent work ethic and follow-through on projects

• Bonus Skills:

+ Experience in heavy equipment or commercial truck systems

+ ASE certification (preferred)

+ Familiarity with hydraulic hose sizes and fittings

Work Environment:

+ Hands-on role with exposure to varying conditions (heat, dust, noise)

+ Physical activity: lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, kneeling, stooping

+ Requires close and distance vision, color perception, and depth focus

This is a Permanent position based out of Bloomington, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $72800.00/yr.
