Job Title: Logistics Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist to efficiently manage warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment handling. This role is crucial in maintaining seamless logistics operations, both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
+ Manage daily warehouse tasks including receiving materials and shipping purchase orders.
+ Handle internal shipping/receiving requirements with related parties, planners, and buyers.
+ Ensure accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receive incoming material and route to appropriate area or personnel.
+ Fill work orders from production, package assemblies and receive into finished goods.
+ Ensure inventory transactions are accurately logged and oversee cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
+ Manage both domestic and international outgoing freight shipments, ensuring proper, accurate, and timely dispatch of outbound shipments.
+ Issue instructions to carriers; schedule and monitor carriers to provide on-time pickup and delivery.
+ Create documents for international and domestic shipments, as well as shipping instructions.
+ Develop and maintain departmental work instructions for all tasks.
+ Establish or adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and workflow.
+ Recommend measures to improve quality of service and increase efficiency of work crew and equipment performance.
+ Continuously improve warehouse operations and inventory control management using lean enterprise practices.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency with ERP systems is a must, and ERP Priority is an advantage.
+ At least 2 years’ experience in International Export/Import compliance.
+ Understanding and differentiation of all terms within Incoterm.
+ Familiarity with EEI, HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, and COO.
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
+ Excellent communication skills to provide guidance within Operations and Service.
+ Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and independently.
+ Capability to work under pressure for long periods.
+ Proficiency in collecting, interpreting, and analyzing complex data.
+ Visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information.
+ Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and perform repetitive motion activities.
+ Capability to lift up to 68 lbs.
+ Use of computer, keyboard, and mouse for extended periods.
+ Ability to drive a forklift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with BOM and pick/pack against Work Order.
+ Proven ability to lead complex 'what-if' analysis with multiple scenarios.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
