    Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on the 1st shift from 7am-3pm, Monday through Friday. You will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the operational efficiency of our production equipment and machinery.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various production equipment and machinery.

    + Experience with compressed air and vacuum pump systems.

    + Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

    + Conduct equipment inspections and document findings.

    + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

    + Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform repairs as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic in a critical environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology.

    + Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

    + Familiarity with low, medium, and high-pressure steam systems.

    + Good knowledge of rebuilding and replacing motors and pumps.

    + Experience with HVAC, service, troubleshooting, mechanical, and preventive maintenance.

    + Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and schematics.

    + Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

    + Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Andover, MA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
