    About the Role

     

    Be part of the backbone of energy and industry! As an **Operations Technician** , you’ll work hands-on with mechanical sampling systems at bulk terminals that handle **coal, coke, and petroleum coke** . This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy physical work, problem-solving, and making an impact in a critical sector.

     

    • What You’ll Do

    + Maintain and clean mechanical sampling systems using compressed air, water, and hand/power tools.

    + Remove material buildup and ensure safe, clean work areas across equipment, walkways, and facilities.

    + Monitor and inspect equipment during operation and downtime for optimal performance.

    + Record and analyze data such as sample ratios, weights, tonnages, and equipment parameters.

    + Apply **Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)** procedures to ensure safety.

    + Work rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) with overtime opportunities.

    • What We’re Looking For

    + Strong time-management and reliability.

    + Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently.

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    + Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel).

    + Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

    Bonus Points For:

    + Mechanical aptitude and experience with production or machine operation.

    + Familiarity with documentation processes and sample testing.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
