Job Title: Apprentice Carpenter
Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Some Saturdays may be required depending on project timelines and workload.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled laborer to assist with a renovation project at the Lincoln Health-Miles Campus in Damariscotta, ME. The project involves transforming the third floor of the hospital into a new oncology wing.
Responsibilities
+ Assist the site superintendent with various tasks.
+ Patch holes in drywall.
+ Perform light carpentry work.
+ Conduct site clean-up when necessary.
Essential Skills
+ **General labor** experience.
+ **Construction** and carpentry skills.
+ Proficiency with **hand tools** and **power tools** .
+ Ability to perform drywall tasks.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Capability to work with limited supervision.
+ Knowledge of blueprint reading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar **construction** role.
+ Open to candidates with the right mindset willing to learn.
+ Ability to operate **basic hand** and **power tools** with limited training.

This is a Contract position based out of Damariscotta, ME.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
