Assembler – Vinyl Windows & Patio Doors

Shift Schedule/Pay:
+ Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
+ Occasional overtime on Fridays
+ Pay Range: $17 to $20 an hour (based on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking two skilled Assemblers to join our team on the manufacturing floor. In this role, you’ll operate machines and equipment to fabricate and assemble vinyl windows and patio doors. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to a collaborative team, this position offers both stability and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
As an Assembler, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products meet high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Your responsibilities will include:
+ **Glass Cutting:** Measure, mark, and cut glass to precise specifications using specialized equipment.
+ **IGU Assembly & Aluminum Extrusion Processing:** Assemble Integrated Glass Units and process aluminum extrusions with accuracy and attention to detail.
+ **Vinyl Extrusion Fusion Welding:** Operate automated welding machines to fuse vinyl components, ensuring strong and clean joints.
+ **Window Assembly:** Build window frames, sashes, and hardware, checking alignment and fit throughout the process.
+ **Patio Door Assembly:** Assemble patio door components including tracks, rollers, and locking mechanisms.
+ **Screen Assembly:** Fabricate and install window and door screens, ensuring proper tension and fit.
+ **Packaging & Quality Checks:** Prepare finished products for shipment by securely packaging them, labeling correctly, and performing final inspections.
+ **Machine & Tool Operation:** Safely operate power tools, saws, and other equipment while following safety protocols.
+ **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with other team members to keep production flowing smoothly and meet daily output goals.
+ **Workstation Maintenance:** Keep your area organized, clean, and stocked with necessary materials to support efficiency.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with assembly, production, and power tools
+ Ability to use a tape measure, hand tools, and power tools
+ Understanding of blueprints and basic math (fractions included)
+ Mechanical assembly and finish carpentry skills
+ Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 10 hours
+ Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
Additional Qualifications
+ Willingness to learn new tasks and skills
+ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
+ Comfort with reading part and assembly drawings
+ Basic math skills (addition, subtraction)

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medford, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
