    Description

    A fast-moving software and technology solutions company in Carlsbad is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant who is eager to grow within a highly collaborative accounting team. This role will allow you to gain experience across multiple areas of accounting while working with a company that values process improvement, training, and long-term career development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assist with daily accounting operations including journal entries and bank reconciliations

    + Support revenue tracking and software subscription billing

    + Help prepare financial reports and assist with monthly close activities

    + Monitor expense reports, credit card transactions, and proper GL coding

    + Maintain vendor files, assist with AP and AR overflow, and support audit prep

    + Collaborate with the Finance Manager to implement new accounting procedures

    Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    + 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships welcome)

    + Strong Excel skills and ability to learn new platforms quickly

    + Desire to grow into a Staff Accountant role
