    Position Overview:

    Participates in and support the patient/family care and experience through teamwork, effective communication, customer service skills, clerical skills and maintenance of patient information under the direction of an RN.

    EDUCATION

    HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience

     

    Other: Successful completion of medical terminology course is required.

    CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

    BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

    DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

    Must have demonstrated proficiency in computer skills.

    DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE

    Affiliate: Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital, Department: SAH Critical Care Dept,

    SAH Unit Secretary II, Previous employment in a healthcare setting i.e., CNA, Rehab technician, EMT, ED technician required.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    Excellent communication skills required.

     

    Must have the ability to handle a variety of stressful situations while remaining calm, professional, flexible, and work independently.

     

    Demonstrates the ability to operate basic office equipment, i.e., fax machine, computer, copier, etc.

    Pay Range is $25.76 to $31.42 / hour
