This is a non-classified one-year term-limited position, performing the outlined duties with the Auraria Higher Education Center from the date of hire for approximately one year.

Job Summary:
Auraria Campus Campus is seekingone-year term limited (non-classified)HR Junior Business Partner. This position will play a dual role in advancing both human resources technology and employee development initiatives. The Junior HR Business Partner will oversee and optimize HR systems, ensure data integrity, and design innovative learning programs that foster continuous growth across the organization.
Essential Job Functions: HRIS Analyst:
+ Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the HRIS platform to support HR operations and organizational efficiency.
+ Ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of employee data across systems; generate and analyze reports for leadership decision-making.
+ Develop training materials and deliver workshops for HR staff and employees on HRIS functionality, reporting tools, and learning platforms.
+ Create dashboards and metrics to monitor HR performance, employee engagement, and training effectiveness.
+ Collaborate with various departments on digital transformation initiatives, system upgrades, and process improvements.
+ Support compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies by maintaining accurate records and reporting capabilities.
+ Assist the Director with special projects related to HR technology integration and workforce analytics.
HR Business Partner:
+ Design, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs aligned with organizational strategy and employee experience.
+ Partner with HR leadership to build and deliver targeted learning.
+ Provide consultative support to managers and employees on career development, performance management, and succession planning.
+ Research and recommend emerging learning methodologies to strengthen organizational development initiatives.
+ Assist the Director with special projects related to organizational development and strategic HR initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
+ 5 years of full-time professional work experience in a human resources role.
+ At least 2 years overseeing HRIS implementation, maintenance, and acting as the backend administrator.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in developing and delivering training and workshops through multiple modalities for different learner styles.
+ Experience in HR data management, compliance, reporting standards.
+ Experience in HRIS configuration, upgrades, and process improvements.
Attributes and Abilities:
+ Proven experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse population at all levels throughout or organization and into the community.
+ Ability to communicate in a positive and effective manner, across various modalities.
+ Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks in parallel to maintain attention to detail.
+ Outwardly contributes to a respectful, positive, and professional workspace.
+ Ability to establish work priorities, follow through, and meet established deadlines.
+ Strong judgment and critical thinking skills.
+ Ability to deliberately listen effectively and then communicate relevant information. Ability to anticipate problems, and offer suggestions for resolution.
+ Experience driving strategic HR operational initiatives.
+ Experience with human capital management systems.
+ Knowledge of applicable local, Federal, and State laws, rules, and regulations.
