Job Summary

Auburn Athletics (https://auburntigers.com/) is excited to begin the search for a **Graduate Assistant – Event Operations** . This individual will assist the game manager or serving as game manager/main point of contact at assigned sports and events and preparing and distributing communications & materials for gameday operations.

Essential Functions

+ Assist the game manager and/or serve as a manager at assigned sports and events

+ Prepare and distribute communications and materials for gameday operations (event sheets, credential boards, etc.)

+ Assist with leading in event staff scheduling, training, and education – contracted and student staff

+ Assist with event/facility set up and break down

+ Manage day-to-day office responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

+ Admitted to a graduate degree-seeking or certificate program at Auburn University.

+ Bachelor’s degree in business, sport management, or related field.

+ Registered for at least one course (anything carrying an Auburn University course number) during each academic term of the assistantship.

Expectations:

Candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to work nights and weekend hours.

We are looking for a candidate who desires to hold this position for two years.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience working in a collegiate or professional sport event management is preferred.
