**Location:** 14955 Truman Street,Ottumwa,Iowa,52501

**Shift and Schedule** 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:30 AM – 1:30 PM (Saturdays as needed) Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required.

We are seeking a **Production Lead** to supervise and coordinate activities across multiple high-speed packaging lines. This hands-on role is responsible for providing daily leadership, coaching, and support to production personnel, ensuring operations meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and experienced in leading teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead and coach production operators to meet daily and weekly production goals

+ Ensure all packaging operations align with safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction targets

+ Monitor equipment functionality and maintain a safe working environment

+ Manage operations within established labor and budget guidelines

+ Maintain accurate records and production documentation

+ Analyze production data and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement

+ Recommend enhancements to equipment, materials, and processes

+ Support and enforce lean manufacturing and standardized work practices

+ Mentor and develop team members, promoting a collaborative and performance-driven culture

+ Build team capability through training and skill development

Total Rewards:

+ Starting pay: $26.32 per hour.

Requirements:

+ Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry preferred)

+ Experience with high-speed production equipment and quality monitoring systems

+ Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills

+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
