What You'll Do
+ Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on electrical systems and equipment.
+ Respond to floor calls to resolve electrical issues for team members and patients.
+ Conduct monthly, weekly, and annual testing of electrical systems.
+ Manage and assist with power shutdowns during projects and collaborate with utility companies during outages.
+ Work closely with contractors on electrical projects and infrastructure maintenance.
+ Maintain compliance with safety and building codes across all assigned facilities.
What We're Looking For
+ Education: Two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience; completion of a three-year electrical apprenticeship required.
+ Experience: 5+ years in commercial electrical distribution system installation and maintenance; healthcare experience highly preferred.
+ Licensure: Valid Journeyman or State Electrician License required. NCDL Required.
+ Skills:
+ Transfer switch and generator experience is necessary
+ Strong troubleshooting skills with switchgear, motor controls, and electrical systems
+ Familiarity with life safety and building codes
+ Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals
Preferred: Knowledge of mechanical systems and computer proficiency for documentation and diagnostics.
