Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Responsibilities
+ Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist.
+ Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose of them per procedure.
+ Prepack frequently ordered medications, label, and store them as needed during low volume times.
+ Manually package materials and products.
+ Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas prepack racks.
+ Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy checks.
+ Alert the pharmacist on duty about any medication/product that is not scanning properly.
+ Maintain designated workstation areas and replenish all stock supplies as needed.
+ Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.
+ Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in data entry.
+ Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
+ Active IL Pharmacy Technician License issued by the IL Board of Pharmacy and NHA or PTCB certification.
+ Experience in a specialty pharmacy or fulfillment pharmacy tech role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
+ Previous pharmacy technician experience is a plus.
Work Environment
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM, and Saturday/Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend required. The position may require sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and walking intermittently during the day. Occasionally, you may need to lift up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity to read fine print and specific vision abilities, including close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus, are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burr Ridge, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
