    Position Summary

    ITQA Organization currently supports QA Testing and Automation using QA Engineering best practices in the area of Automation, Data Management and Regression testing to allow IT teams to meet their QA testing efficiency goals using advanced tools and engineering processes. This position requires knowledge of QA testing best practices and test automation tools that can accelerate testing process in the Software SDLC and allow teams to deliver high quality products to our Business partners including Clients.

    Primary Responsibilities include:-

    • Participate in SEP SDLC process and understand Project requirements , design and develop automated test cases that will meet the scope of the projects and validate all functionality

    • Develop Test automation using standard automation tools and programming languages – Java, VB Scripting

    • Develop Manual test cases for non-automation scenarios to perform exploratory testing including positive and negative test cases

    • Perform test data setup for all Automated and Manual test cases to meet exact testing criteria to meet Functional and Regression testing requirements

    • Perform test execution as per the defined timelines and report daily progress , issues and risks using standard reporting tools like Velocity Charts

    • Log defects and perform root cause analysis for various issues in the project and work with Test Lead to ensure all defects are categorized correctly

    • Perform Regression testing and ensure existing functionality is delivered as expected and ensure PROD stability is achieved

    • Participate in project Lessons Learnt and actively participate in providing feedback that can contribute to overall efficiency of delivery

    • Participate in automation tools evaluation and actively provide feedback on software engineering process that would allow us teams to evaluate quality

    • Participate in developing metrics , reports and tools using advanced data analysis tools like Python , Angular and Maria DB application stack

    • Work in an Agile SDLC environment and comfortable working in Iterative and Sprint based models to deliver quality project work

    • Demonstrate keen interest in new tools , efficiency and ability to automate across technologies to contribute to overall testing goals

    Required Qualifications

    + • 0-3 years’ experience in Software development process with strong background in QA Engineering and testing• Strong knowledge of software automation tools like – Selenium , SeeTest , HP UFT and DEVTEST• Strong expertise in Java programming language with knowledge of utilizing programming across test automation process• Knowledge of Test automation across various software technologies – Web, Mobile , Service Layer and AS400 technologies• Expertise in working with open source databases like – MySQL and Maria DB with knowledge SQL and data modeling• Knowledge of QA processes including Test Planning , Test Case Development , Test Execution and Defect Management• Knowledge of Test Reporting including Defect categorization and root cause analysis• Knowledge of working with multiple database sources ( AS400 , DB2 , Oracle and SQL Server)• Knowledge of agile software delivery and working in Agile SCRUM , Iterative Development• Expertise in Visio and MS -office

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    + Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud/infrastructure concepts.

    + Experience with front-end or back-end development is a plus.

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $29.72 - $59.42

     

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
