    Hospice Aide

     

    The Hospice of Dubuque Interdisciplinary Team has been serving the tri-state area for over 42 years, bringing compassionate, high quality care to individuals in the final chapter of life.

     

    Hospice of Dubuque is seeking a **CNA** to join our team in the role of Hospice Aide.

    The Hospice Aide:

    + Functions as a member of the Hospice of Dubuque Interdisciplinary Team.

    + Visits hospice patients/families their place of residence, which may be a home, apartment, or facility.

    + Provides personal care following each patient’s individualized plan of care.

    + Documents using the agency’s electronic medical record.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    + Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training and competency evaluation program and currently listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry.

    + One year of healthcare experience.

    + Compassion, sensitivity, and strong communication skills.

    + Desire to work as part of a cohesive care team providing end-of-life care to clients.
