    Job Description

Upward Bound provides fundamental support to high school students in their preparation for college entrance. Upward Bound serves: high school students from low-income families; and high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree. To accomplish the goals and objectives of the program, the Upward Bound Advisor manages a caseload of students at two of our target schools and provides academic advising, college/career exploration opportunities and social/emotional support to participants in the program. The program structure includes daily tutoring on-site at the target high schools, occasional Saturday programming with all participants, and a six-week summer program.
