The Maintenance Manager maintains 24/7 overall responsibility for the effective total management of the Maintenance Department. This includes Plant Operations, Grounds and Building Maintenance, Security, and Systems Engineering. The Maintenance Manager is also responsible for life safety management and for ensuring that a safe and esthetically pleasing environment is available to all residents, guests and visitors throughout the Community
Qualifications
Maintenance Manager requirements:
+ At least 5 years equivalent practical experience in facility management of a large campus-like environment. Healthcare industry experience required, preferably in Long Term Care.
+ A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing employees and prior budgetary experience required.
+ Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
+ Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
