    ### Job Duties

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The essence of the Industrial Painter is to prepare and finish products by performing light bodywork and applying paint finishes using a HPLV on a variety of materials. This person is responsible for staging and curing painted products, inspecting refurbished materials, and ensuring precise, high-quality results that meet customer specifications.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Prepares products by doing light bodywork, sanding, blocking, filing and priming

     

    Uses a HPLV paint guns to create qualify finishes in a wet paint environment

     

    Places products for painting on movable platforms

     

    Paints stand and custom equipment to meet customer’s expectations

     

    Paints on a variety of materials (stainless steel, fiber glass, etc).

     

    Moves and stages painted products in drying room

     

    Keeps work area clean and organized

     

    Communicate ideas and issues in a timely manner

     

    Ensure high quality standards

     

    Work in a team orientated manner

     

    Inspect refurbished materials, assess conditions, and make recommendations for future improvements

     

    ### Minimum Education Required

    High school diploma/GED preferred

     

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    3+ years in industrial paint/wet paint environment, required

     

    Previous experience in industrial or auto body paint preparation, required

     

    Technical knowledge of paints and body fillers, preferred

     

    Basic computer knowledge

    Experienced with hand tools and sanding devices

    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively. Able to assist team members in repetitively heavy lifting
