    Part Time Pharmacist

    Job Description

    + Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.

    + Review prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and compliance.

    + Monitor patient history to ensure safe drug administration.

    + Respond to patient inquiries and provide medication counseling.

    + Ensure the quality and safety of all medications dispensed.

    + Manage inventory and maintain regulatory compliance.

    + Organize workflow and maintain accurate documentation.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in pharmacy operations, including data entry and dispensing.

    + Experience with order entry and prior authorization processes.

    + Strong customer service and communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.

    + Active Texas Pharmacy License in good standing.

    Work Environment

    + Pharmacy operates Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

    + Collaborative and supportive team atmosphere focused on patient care.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Weslaco, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
