Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description
This position entails working as a Quality Engineer in an ISO 9001 environment. The role is plant-focused, dealing with equipment and tools related to plastics and blow-molded products. Experience in quality documentation, including inspections and work instructions, is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Apply expertise in GD&T, dimensional metrology, and metal processing/fabrication to assess the feasibility of design specifications and verify component compliance.
+ Collaborate with or lead cross-functional teams to resolve product and process nonconformities through root cause analysis, development of corrective action plans, and implementation of engineering changes.
+ Support the creation of inspection standards, including product and process criteria, key characteristics, and sampling strategies.
+ Assess and confirm supplier capability to meet drawing specifications.
+ Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify component compliance.
+ Record, report, and communicate details regarding quality issues and nonconformities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
Health care, 401k benefits and PTO and holiday time off.

This is a fully onsite position in Adrian,MI.
