Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a 6-month project, specializing in sensor systems development and testing. The engineer will be responsible for testing and analyzing various sensors, including environmental, motion, and IR sensors. The role involves not only testing and analysis but also providing recommendations to the engineering team based on findings.
Responsibilities
+ Test and analyze environmental sensors, motion sensors, and IR sensors.
+ Conduct analog front-end signal conditioning and sensor interfacing.
+ Make recommendations to the engineering team based on test findings.
+ Use lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, DAQs, and precision analyzers for testing.
+ Design and interpret controlled experiments and perform statistical data analysis.
Essential Skills
+ Strong background in analog front ends, signal conditioning, and sensor interfacing (I²C, SPI, UART).
+ Skilled with lab instrumentation including oscilloscopes, DAQs, and precision analyzers.
+ Knowledge of embedded systems and firmware integration.
+ Understanding of environmental and reliability testing for precision electronics.
+ Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, and NumPy/Pandas.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
+ 10+ years of hands-on experience in sensor systems development.
+ Experience with sensor fusion and algorithm validation.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Greenwood Village, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
