M&A Project Manager
Contract: Full-Time | Monday to Friday

SUMMARY
As an M&A Project Manager, you’ll plan, coordinate, and execute projects related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. You’ll ensure smooth integration of acquired entities and alignment with organizational objectives. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors, you’ll manage due diligence, integration planning, and post-close activities—all while driving innovation and efficiency.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPre-Deal Support & Due Diligence
+ Coordinate due diligence across finance, legal, HR, IT, and operations
+ Maintain secure data rooms and manage access controls for sensitive information
+ Consolidate findings into clear, actionable summaries for executive review
+ Begin integration planning to identify major system, process, and cultural considerations
+ Develop a roadmap for post-close activities
Deal Support
+ Track and manage deliverables from internal teams and external advisors
+ Ensure timely collection and validation of documentation and data
+ Identify potential risks early and propose mitigation strategies
Integration Task Management
+ Lead development of a comprehensive integration roadmap across IT, HR, Finance, Operations, and Compliance
+ Facilitate workshops with business leaders to identify tasks, dependencies, and milestones
+ Monitor progress, escalate issues, and adjust plans to maintain strategic alignment
+ Ensure integration addresses systems migration, process harmonization, cultural alignment, and compliance
Integration Planning & Execution
+ Develop and maintain integration plans, timelines, and success criteria
+ Manage cross-functional workstreams and ensure accountability
+ Proactively identify and mitigate integration risks
Communication & Stakeholder Management
+ Serve as primary liaison between executive leadership, functional teams, and external partners
+ Deliver regular status updates and executive dashboards
Change Management
+ Drive adoption of new processes and systems post-acquisition
+ Facilitate training and communication plans for impacted teams
Governance & Reporting
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards
+ Maintain accurate documentation for audit and legal purposes
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
+ 5+ years of project management experience, including 2+ years in M&A or corporate integration
+ Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
+ Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex, confidential projects
+ Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
+ Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
+ PMP or similar certification
+ Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries
+ Familiarity with financial modeling, valuation concepts, and legal due diligence
+ Knowledge of IT systems integration and data migration
