We’re seeking a versatile and creative Content Marketing Specialist to support both external marketing initiatives and internal communications. In this role, you will develop compelling content for blogs, websites, social media, press releases, print materials, and more.
You will also play a key role in supporting our employer brand and employee engagement efforts by creating internal newsletters, developing culture-forward content for LinkedIn and other social platforms, and maintaining our SharePoint intranet.
This position requires strong writing skills, curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across Marketing, HR, and business leadership.
Responsibilities
Marketing & External Communications
+ Create original, engaging content for blogs, websites, promotional materials, award submissions, social media, PR, email campaigns, and other marketing assets.
+ Collaborate with marketing, HR, and subject matter experts to translate complex topics into clear, accessible content.
+ Manage corporate and divisional social media platforms, including content planning, writing, scheduling, and performance reporting.
+ Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels.
+ Update and optimize digital content using SEO best practices.
+ Utilize AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to enhance ideation, content creation, and editing workflows.
+ Track content performance metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
+ Maintain and execute against a content publishing calendar.
+ Research new content distribution opportunities to maximize reach and engagement.
+ Support additional marketing tasks, campaigns, and projects as needed.
Internal Communications & Employer Branding
+ Write and design corporate internal newsletters to communicate company updates, events, initiatives, and employee highlights.
+ Develop employer branding content for LinkedIn and other social channels, showcasing culture, employee stories, community involvement, and organizational achievements.
+ Maintain the company’s SharePoint intranet, ensuring timely updates, clear navigation, and relevant internal content.
+ Partner with HR, leadership, and departments across the company to support internal communications needs.
+ Ensure consistent employer brand voice and messaging across internal and external content.
+ Support communication strategies that enhance employee engagement and reinforce company culture.
Qualifications
+ 1-3 combined years of experience writing for internal communications, marketing, Public Relations (PR), and/or social media.
+ Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple content formats.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
+ Demonstrated desire to work and collaborate with others on content development.
+ A strong problem-solver mindset.
+ Experience utilizing MS Office, Google Analytics, and CMS systems. And AI-powered content tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Grammarly, etc.).
+ Deadline-oriented and detail-oriented.
+ Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, or related field) or equivalent education/experience.
The posted salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
