Description Position Overview: The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in overseeing key accounting functions, maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to managing complex accounting tasks. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statements Analyze and interpret financial data to support business decision-making Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Support audits by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices Provide guidance and support to entry level accounting staff Manage fixed asset accounting and expense allocations Assist with implementation of new accounting systems or upgrades

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment Solid understanding of general ledger systems and accounting principles Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Effective communicator with the ability to convey complex information clearly Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/accounting software If interested, please get in contact with Ashley Moncada: 925-274-5423
