We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a dynamic start-up based in Englewood, Colorado. This role offers the opportunity to lead financial operations, implement efficient processes, and contribute to the company's growth. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting practices and a proactive approach to building robust systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliations.

• Lead financial statement audits, coordinating with external auditors to meet compliance standards.

• Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.

• Develop and implement accounting procedures to streamline operations within the organization.

• Provide strategic insights and financial reporting to support decision-making processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish efficient workflows and best practices.

• Mentor and manage accounting team members, fostering careful development and growth.

Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including public accounting or audit, with a detail-oriented approach.

• Strong expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Proven ability to conduct financial statement audits with attention to compliance.

• Proficiency in account reconciliations and journal entry preparation.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
